The Fair Banking for All Campaign has been working hard for the past two years to persuade the government to pass game-changing legislation – a Fair Banking Act. There’s no doubt that Michael Sheen’s documentary and all the media coverage around it will make a big difference. But we need more!
The government is now considering what its strategy will be for addressing financial exclusion (something it promised in its manifesto). We need to persuade enough MPs to support the Fair Banking Act and ensure it is adopted as a central pillar of that strategy.
