First launched in October 2013, in collaboration with the New Economy Organisers Network (nef) and the Public Interest Research Centre, Campaign Lab is back.
Campaign Lab is a six-month programme for economic justice campaigners working on the interconnected root causes of society’s biggest challenges – economic recession, climate change and inequality, to name just a few.
There was a great response to the call for applications and close to 100 organisations stepped forward to be part of the programme. From these we selected civil society leaders from 19 organisations, including trade unions, faith groups, NGOs and grassroots movements. The programme is designed to develop their knowledge, campaign strategies and leadership skills.
The organisations on the programme were:
- 350.org
- People and Planet
- 38 degrees
- Action Aid UK
- Bring Back British Rail
- Christian Aid
- Friends of the Earth
- High Pay Centre
- Equality Trust
- Robin Hood Tax UK
- Stamp Out Poverty
- The Peoples Assembly
- TUC
- Unite
- Share Action
- Centre for Alternative Technology
- Edge Fund
- Transition Town Totnes
