Positive Money

Positive Money is a campaign that is challenging the fact that 97% of the money in our economy is created as interest-bearing debt by commercial banks when they make loans. Since launching in September 2010, Positive Money has developed proposals for banking reform to that support a stable banking system and a lower overall level of debt.

Ben Curtis of Positive Money hosted a session at a Finance Innovation Lab workshop in May 2011. He explored how they might better popularise this issue and others like it within the Lab; issues that are technical, complicated and have multiple audiences.
