The Finance Innovation Lab responded to the government’s consultation on establishing a green taxonomy for the UK to support sustainable investment, and to mitigate against greenwashing. We argued for a strong and simple taxonomy to support a rapid and just transition to a low-carbon economy. We highlighted both the benefits of having such a system in place, and the risks of not having it.
