New research from Finance Innovation Lab and New Economics Foundation shows how the government and Bank of England could deliver a ‘Solar Saver Scheme’ which would allow 8 million households to install rooftop solar and batteries with no upfront costs, reducing average energy bills by more than £250 a year.
