Organised by the Fair Banking for All Campaign and the APPG on Fair Banking, the roundtable will explore how a Fair Banking Act would:
- support a national financial inclusion strategy by tackling business and individual financial exclusion through the expansion of affordable credit,
- drive capital to small businesses and unlock regional growth,
- support an ambitious scaling of the mutual and CDFI sectors.
The roundtable will provide an opportunity to:
- Hear about recent research on the impact a Fair Banking Act could have.
- Consider what exclusion from affordable credit for millions means for the UK’s businesses and families.
- Hear directly from experts and people affected by the issues.
There will also be time for questions, open discussion and networking.
