Ethical AI in Finance

July 5, 2018

5pm

Location: Nuffield Foundation, 28 Bedford Square, Fitzrovia, London WC1B 3JS

On 5 July 2018, we ran a workshop with the Ada Lovelace Institute on the ethical use of data and AI technologies in finance.

We combined the Lab’s systemic approach to innovation with Ada’s expertise in ensuring data and AI work for people and society to work with fintech leaders to:

  • Gain insights into the emerging ethical challenges experienced by financial innovators working with data and AI.
  • Identify the systemic barriers that inhibit fintechs from working in the public interest
  • Understand what financial innovators need to support their ethical practice.
