Community and Communications Manager, (part-time / full-time), £30,360-£40,480 (depending on relevant experience) + benefits

We’re looking for an experienced, creative and strategic Community and Communications Manager. You’ll have incredible relationship building and interpersonal skills, and you’ll thrive on helping build and connect our exciting community. You’ll be skilled at dealing with all situations with a positive attitude and tact.

You’ll be able to engage successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders – from innovators, to policymakers and beyond – and will have experience and skills at building thriving networks or communities that help people work together for change.

It is essential that you have a demonstrable dedication to equity, diversity and inclusion; an understanding of intersectionality, and an affinity with the Lab’s approach to systems change and our core values, including an openness to continual reflection, learning and development.

You should have a commitment to the aims of the Lab, and an interest in the financial system, social innovation, systems change, sustainability and/or social justice.

You will have excellent communications skills and experience, including with social media, copywriting and ideally some experience with WordPress websites.

Alongside our core team, we work with a pool of freelancers who have relevant expertise to help us achieve our vision and mission – our ‘Lab Associates’.  You can find details of some of our current Associates on our team page here.

If you would be interested in working with us on a project basis in future please send a paragraph about yourself and why you want to work with the Lab to using the subject line ‘Associate enquiry’. You might be an experienced network builder and facilitator, or perhaps a subject-expert in one of our areas of focus. We’re keen to hear what you can bring to our work – and what you might want to learn from us.
