We’re excited to reveal the 16 entrepreneurs selected to take part in Lab Fellowship 2018-19, a groundbreaking incubation programme for financial innovators with a social mission.
Our Fellows have been selected on the basis of their potential to positively disrupt the financial system and pioneer the responsible use of data-driven technologies in finance. Their projects include:
- Apps that make it easy to invest and shop in line with your values
- Leading-edge methods for local people and SMEs to create, share and exchange value
- New digital tools to give people greater control over their financial health
- New payment platforms to empower communities spanning tenants, caregivers and Bangladeshi garment workers.
The Fellowship programme, delivered over nine months in 2019, will support Fellows to test and refine their ideas, build purpose-driven business strategies, develop their leadership capabilities, and grow a network of contacts to support them on the next stage of their journey.
The programme draws on the Lab’s expertise in incubation, purpose-led financial innovation and systems change, along with specialist input on the responsible use of data and technology drawn from the Lab’s community.
